  • Category Review:
    • PS 205
      • This course was given a provisional reinstatement, with a possibility reinstatement provided that issues with the syllabus were addressed.  The course was resubmitted but, due to still existing syllabus issues (lacking verbatim Baccalaureate Core statements) it’s provisional reinstatement status will not change.
    • ENG 275
      • This course was resubmitted after being sent back for syllabus changes.  Only minor edits were done.  The syllabus still does not make any real connections to the learning outcomes, the Disability Access Services (DAS) and conduct links were not current.  The course was to be recertified on the condition that the changes were made. A letter will be sent out to bring attention to the lack of changes made.
    • MUS 101
      • This course was resubmitted after being decertified.  They made some changes to the syllabus, such as connect their learning outcomes and providing a syllabus for the on campus course.  However, many other issues were still not fixed.  They have been changed to provisionally recertified, provided remaining syllabus issues are addressed and fixed.

      • SPAN 438
      • WGSS 460
  • Reports:
    • Eng 205 fixed the syllabus issues that were addressed and it will be recertified.
    • CHN 332 and 333 were submitted for review last year and had the common syllabus issues (no Bacc Core statement, DAS statement, not linking activities to learning outcomes) and also had some issues with the assessment table and the outcomes on the submitted form.  These issues have all been addressed and fixed and the courses will be recertified.
    • Regarding earlier discussion with the DAS office; they seemed interested in the idea of creating an updated site for faculty to refer to but it otherwise has not moved forward.
