The Academic Regulations Committee maintains and reviews the University’s Academic Regulations in an effort to assist students by providing information that is essential for planning and pursuing their academic programs. The Committee reviews current academic regulations for improved clarity and, where appropriate, recommends revisions or new regulations for consideration by the Faculty Senate.
It recommends regulations in a range of areas, including admissions and transfer credit standards, registration eligibility and protocols, grades and grading systems, academic progress and graduation requirements, and academic credential standards, as well as additional miscellaneous student requirements.
The Committee consists of five Faculty, at least three of whom must be Teaching Faculty, two Students, and the Registrar, ex-officio, non-voting.
