    • There has been improvement to the syllabus, but it is difficult to determine what assignments students are doing, when they are due and what learning outcome is being assessed.
    • It’s not clear how the material addresses the outcomes.
    • Unclear in the syllabus how the science or technology involved in humanitarian engineering has changed over time.
    • Unclear which assignment is intended to meet the writing requirement for STS.
    • There are connections between technology and societal impacts, but it’s not clear in the syllabus that students are being asked to critically engage with the course content.
    • Much of the content in the syllabus is too vague to accurately determine whether or not the course is meeting all STS requirements.
