Program Proposal

• Dual Language Education Graduate Certificate, Key #367 – Change Graduate Certificate
• There is no associated budget impact, but no budget narrative is included in the proposal.
  • Chaplen proposed to bounce it back to the originators for the budget narrative – the members were supportive

Report Back from University Budget Advisory Committee

• Chaplen reported that the most recent meeting focused on the upcoming university budget model – the discussion consisted of more context than action. There are three working groups – University Budget Model, Differential Tuition and Student Fees. Chaplen is serving on the University Budget Model and Differential Tuition groups. His intent is to loop in the Budgets & Fiscal Planning Committee members as issues arise.

Other Business

• The Committee will likely receive several proposals that have no budget impact – similar to the Dual Language Education Graduate Certificate. If the proposal is either complete or just missing the narrative, Frank suggested voting via email – the members were supportive.
• Seton will resign at the end of winter term as she will be on extended leave, likely, for the remainder of the calendar year.
