      • Members are asked to please notify Vickie Nunnemaker when ready to do a brief overview of the proposals in their college.
    • There was a question about #59 – Food Econ & Policy Minor – the terminate box was checked, but it was unclear whether it was actually being terminated. Rebecca Mathern offered to determine the CIM termination and suspension language; Belinda Sykes provided the following response: Drop, suspend and terminate all come under the heading of ‘inactivation’ in CIM – it’s the standard naming convention they use. However, there is a specific field in the form that clarifies which is which. For program proposals, it’s the first question that comes up. “Do you wish to suspend this program for three years or terminate the program permanently?” The originator enters either ‘Terminate’ or ‘Suspend’.
    • Artificial Intelligence MS, MEng, PhD #107212 – New Degree Program Proposal? If so, the AI Course Designator will be discussed in conjunction with the proposal.
  1. Course Designator Request
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Course Designator
      • Both the attachment and a message from the Registrar indicating that the AI course designator is available are linked from the CPS at the end of the proposal under ‘Documents’ at https://secure.oregonstate.edu/ap/cps/proposals/view/107499.
      • The Council decided in Fall 2019 to consider the AI proposal in conjunction with the AI course designator.
