  • This proposal was initially reviewed on February 14, 2017. The reviewers were requested to inquire regarding the lack of a language requirement and why not a BS/BA option? The unit responded on April 4 with responses to Curriculum Council concerns and added an update to the Student Learning Outcomes in response to questions 3 and 4 in the ‘Sent Back’ comments.

  1. University Honors College Courses – Gary Beach
  • Part of APAA’s streamlining included bypassing Curriculum Council review of Honors courses.
  • Following a prior discussion:
    • Gary Beach indicated it would be nice to have documentation, somehow getting into Banner and MyDegrees. APAA would like a policy or procedure.
    • Rebecca Mathern noted that designation of Honors courses was discussed in the UAPR.
    • John Bailey suggested to table, but think about whether to review existing courses.
