1. Category I Proposals
-
Renaming an Academic Program Proposal – From: Master of Business Administration-Accountancy (MBA-A) to: Master of Accountancy (MAC) #99744
-
Curriculum Council Reviewers: Tom Miller, Ann Zweber
-
Approved by Budgets & Fiscal Planning and Graduate Council
-
New information from Roger Graham, College of Business: Please consider the “greater emphasis on analytics” to be a natural progression in accounting. I’m not sure we knew quite what we were doing when we wrote up the proposal – I apologize for that. It really is just a renaming of a program but we added more to it than we meant or needed to. There may be courses added in the future if needed but right now there are no new courses to add nor plans to add any. It is more likely we will change existing course names in the future rather than add new courses.
