Meeting Minutes

Members present:  Cheryl Middleton, Jennifer Beemer, Yanyun Zhao, Cara Walter, Kristen Ziebart and Kathleen Stanley

Members absent by prior notice:  Randall Milstein and Yuliya Dennis

Discussion regarding presenting a complete proposal for Professor of Teaching at last Faculty Senate meeting of the year

 

We will be presenting a proposal for a professor of teaching rank at the last Faculty Senate meeting on June 9, 2016.  Building off of work that Theo Dreher and Ginny Lessor conducted a sub group of the FS committee will develop a full proposal.  Group members:  Kristen Ziebart, Jennifer Beemer, Yanyun Zhao and Cheryl Middleton.

 

Action items:    Cheryl schedule a meeting for small group, Thursday, April 28, 2016, 10:00 am – 11:30 am

 

The group will have a draft proposal for the committee to review by Thursday, May 9, 2016

 

Follow-up on NTT survey questions to study

Cara Walters and Kathleen Stanley will review the data from the survey and map it to the progress that OSU has made and look for other gap areas for the committee to address at the Faculty Senate meeting on June 9, 2016

Action items:  Cara and Kathleen will schedule time to work on data analysis and will have a draft report ready for committee review by Thursday, May 9, 2016.
