Loril Dawn Chandler died on February 20, 2018 at her mother’s home in Albany, OR.

Born January 23, 1963 to Leonard Frank Chandler and Gwendolyn (Smith) Chandler, Loril grew up in Gold Beach, graduating from Gold Beach Union High School in 1981. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Apparel Design at Oregon State University (OSU).

She started employment at OSU in 1992 as a student worker in the admissions office, worked at OSU in the Speech Communication office, and then as Assistant to the Director of the School of Arts and Communication.

Loril enjoyed reading, music, art, apparel design and construction, Broadway musicals/plays, her two cats, GiGi and Jasper, and spending time with her family.

The OSU community knew Loril as a warm and friendly person who was always willing to help.
